"Nothing you do for children is ever wasted. They seem not to notice us, hovering, averting our eyes, and they seldom offer thanks, but what we do for them is never wasted."

Bitter are the tears of a child: Sweeten them.

Deep are the thoughts of a child: Quiet them.

Sharp is the grief of a child: Take it from him.

Soft is the heart of a child: Do not harden it.

Take a small-town girl...raised in good ol' Kasyville, Utah, and put her in the heart of the big apple, and what do you get? I guess I don't really know the answer to that, but it's something amazing I'm sure. :) I ventured into the city yesterday...it was quite an adventure. I traveled to the local train station and road the train to Grand Central Station. Arriving in Times Square for the first time is exactly what you think it will be like, and nothing like it at the same time. You see the lights and skyscrapers on TV and movies countless times, but nothing compares to the real thing. I was amazed. I spent the day shopping in all the fun shops at times sqaure, had lunch in the Brooklyn Diner, rode the subway a few times, and all-in-all, had a fabulous day!
