"Nothing you do for children is ever wasted. They seem not to notice us, hovering, averting our eyes, and they seldom offer thanks, but what we do for them is never wasted."

Bitter are the tears of a child: Sweeten them.

Deep are the thoughts of a child: Quiet them.

Sharp is the grief of a child: Take it from him.

Soft is the heart of a child: Do not harden it.

Gourmet Chefs

Trying to entertain a 3 and 4 year old for 13 hours each day isn't exactly the easiest thing in the world...but I don't mind the challenge most the time. :) To satisfy our artsy side, we usually color and draw pictures that I am convinced will one day be a part of a world famous museum and will be sold for millions...to satisfy our imaginative side, we play super heroes and save the entire city from evil villains...and our chef/gourmet cooking side? Oh that's easy, we just put some mud in a cup, add a worm or two, and if we're in the mood, add some whip cream to top it all off! ....ok, so not really...but it looks like it. :) We made mud cups with pudding, crushed oreos, gummy worms, and some whip cream. Despite the very close resemblance of real mud, they were pretty delicious!
